You have to work hard to achieve your
dreams and Teddy Geiger is doing just
that.  When he was 5 years old his love
of music came from his grandfathers
playing the piano and trombone.
Teddy plays piano, guitar, percussion
and he said his style is pop-rock with
acoustic performances folky at times.
"When I approach something I try to
make it a little different", he said.  His
newest to be released, The March is
almost completed but they are still
working on which singles will be re-
leased.  I asked him how he came up
with the title and he said, " The March
is a metaphor for life in terms that
you're always moving forward and
you're always making progress, you
keep marching."   He made quite a
bit of progress in the studio, he just
produced his acoustic EP and he is
co-producing this latest CD.  Teddy
told me that the best part of being in
the studio is you have time to get
things right.  Live you don't have that
time; you have to perform as it comes
to you to please your audience.
The fans are a big part of Teddy's
creativity.  He pays attention to how
they are feeling towards his music.
Teddy said, " When I see what they
like that definitely inspires me to
create things differently, I try to make
it interesting for them as well."
At this nights acoustic performance,
at the Cambridge Room at The
House of Blues, all the attention was
focused towards Teddy Geiger and
his music.  His soft soothing voice
was broken periodically by all of his
enthusiastic fans screaming his name.
When he played "Confidence" off his
first CD, "Underage Thinking" the
Cambridge Room was alive with sing-
ing from the stage and throughout
the room.  The best part of Teddy's
job is being able to work in the music
industry.  "The focus of what I do is
on music. I'm so lucky to do this", he
said.  When he is travelling he loves
listening to and writing music,
"Nothing crazy", he added.  Teddy
Geiger is a very focused and talented
young man.  He wants his many fans
to know he's looking forward to having
his new album out and giving them
something new to hear.  The word
I've been hearing is they can't wait!
