The Jonas Brothers are sending out an S.O.S. and their
many fans are responding to Jonas' sing our songs with
packed houses filled with adoring fans singing every word
with enthusiasm. The energetic crowd at the House of Blues
sang along with their new songs, S.O.S., Hold On, Kids of
the Future and of course the ever popular song, Mandy
from their debut CD It's About Time. I had the pleasure of
speaking with Kevin, Joe and Nick backstage. They made
me feel welcome with their friendly manner. Their good
looks are obvious, but it was their passion for their music
and their fans that really impressed me. Their musical
palette has such a wide range. Kevin said they listen to
everything from 30's to today, rock, heavy metal and current
pop artists. Nick was quick to point out, "We are just who we
are, the Jonas Bros. with a bunch of different influences that
come together." Nick also said, " This new album is made up
of our personal experiences this year and it was great to put
them into music." They started their career with a song
written in January of 2004 called Please Be Mine. Their
debut CD, It's About Time had the smash hit Mandy and
their new self-titled CD is already making a huge impact.
They are very confident in their newest release and said
we experimented with this album and it is creative musically
and lyrically. The song they agreed upon as the most
creative is their song, Goodnight and Goodbye, which they
which they would be performing later in concert.
Kevin said it had a lot of varied musical content and
they also play mandolin on this song to give it a
unique flavor. They are so grateful to have the
chance to entertain. Nick said, "We get to do allot
of things most kids our age don't get a chance to
do, so we feel very blessed to have the opportunity
to do something we love. " They enjoy being in the
studio where they can be really creative and plan
their next album but what they truly love is touring.
Kevin said, " We love touring because we get to be
in a different city and meet new people." Joe said,
" We love meeting our fans because they are very
energetic!" Joe not only entertains the audience
with his brothers and their songs but also uses his
personality as a comedian interacting with the fans.
Their newest creation is the video for the song,
S.O.S. which was filmed on the Queen Mary in Long
Beach, California. This song was very important to
us and the storyline was our vision. "The director
was wonderful,Kevin said, He made our vision
come to life." Even though music is their number
one priority, the are well rounded individuals.
They love sports, photography, making movies
and driving to take in the scenery. The Jonas Bros.
are focused on making music to inspire their
audience.Kevin put it so well when he said,"Our goal
is to influence wide-range audience in a good way.
Our songs are to make you happy!" The Jonas Bros.
certainly have a way to make every audience happy
when they play.
